Compatible with: Type C & O plugs. Type E & F plugs will also fit but will not make a earth connection which is unsafe. There are some hybrid sockets that will accept American type A and B plugs but beware as the voltage in Thailand is 230V.

Type O sockets are found exclusively in Thailand. It is a new standard that was developed in 2006 and is being phased in. Some hybrid sockets can accept type A / B / C or O plugs but these are being phased out.
